Welcome to MoDyCo

The research program of the research unit “Models, Dynamics, Corpora” remains firmly anchored in the thematic and methodological approach of linguistics research which has been conducted at the l'Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense for many years.

The main research areas are the following:

In terms of Models: phonological, morphological, syntactic and semantic research, as well as studies on formalization in natural language processing;

In terms of Dynamics: research in language acquisition (development and pathology; mother tongue or second language), in sociolinguistics and didactics.

In terms of Corpora: Corpora are the methodological basis of all the research conducted in the laboratory in textual linguistics, whether diachronic or discursive, and in the study of oral language.
